Art sale benefits UH

Original art created by faculty, alumni, graduate and advanced undergraduate students from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, will be up for grabs this weekend.

The sale at the UH Art Building benefits the Department of Arts Visiting Artist Program and provides an opportunity to collect works by some of Hawaii's most respected artists and emerging talents.

Work will include paintings, sculptures, glass, photography, prints and opportunities to sign up for workshops with glassmaker Rick Mills and printmaker Charlie Cohan.

The Glass and Ceramic Program sale runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday. The "Intersections" sale takes place 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. There is free parking on Sunday.
