TW, one of two Komodo dragons at the Honolulu Zoo, will move
into a new exhibit in a few months. TW and her mate, Doc, are 6
years old, 5-1/2 feet long and weigh about 30 pounds each. The zoo
hopes to breed the ferocious species of monitor lizard native to the
Lesser Sunda Islands in Indonesia. TW and Doc
have been here since 1993.
