Singer Janet Jackson makes her Hawaii debut in a one-night-only performance with her Velvet Rope Tour at Aloha Stadium on Saturday, Jan. 30. Times and ticket prices were to be announced later today by promoter Tom Moffatt.

The Hawaii stop will be the last of Jackson's United States tour which began this summer. The singer will do a two-week tour in Australia in December.

The concert has spurred a unique five-day, four-night Janet Jackson in Paradise tour package Jan. 28 to Feb. 30 for members of the Friends of Janet fan club for $599, double occupancy, airfare not included.

The package includes a meet and greet with Tina Landon and other Janet Jackson dancers; good seats; a luau; souvenir package; and ground transportation to and from the concert and the luau. Reservations must be made by Dec. 4 by calling 415-575-6677.
