HAPUNA PRO-AM: The fourth Hapuna Roundup Invitational Pro-Am will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Hapuna Golf Course.
Four-member teams made up of one Aloha Sectional PGA pro and three amateurs will compete for individual and team prizes. The top professional will win $12,000.
Proceeds from the 36-hole event will go toward an academic scholarship for a Big Island junior golfer.
SENIORS AT NATIONALS: A team of senior women from Hawaii will be among 34 teams competing in the United States Tennis Association League Tennis 3.5 Senior National Championship.
Members of the team are Karen Denison, Sue English, Karen Hamada, Pat Head, Naomi Hill, Helga Milot, Tammy Sczcepanski, Dee Spock, Audrey Yamamoto, Aileen Yoshida, Lynette Loo and Cherlyn Shioi.
WAC VOLLEYBALL TICKETS: Tickets for the Nov. 24-28 Western Athletic Conference women's volleyball tournament in Las Vegas will go on sale Sept. 10.
The price for an all-sessions pass (11 matches) is $30. A single-session ticket for $8 will be available for sale starting Nov. 23. The twelve-team event will again be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

The first-round matches are Nov. 24 followed by the quarterfinals on Nov. 25. After a day off for Thanksgiving, the semifinals are scheduled for Nov. 27 with the championship on Nov. 28.
