Dragon boats
race again

More than 45 teams will compete in the third annual AT&T Dragon Boat Festival July 25 at Ala Moana Beach Park. The first race begins at 7 a.m., and the festival runs until 7 p.m.

Races in seven divisions will take place in the swimming channel fronting Ala Moana Beach Park. A traditional Buddhist ceremony, dragon dance and fireworks, along with food and craft booths, will be presented on land.

Sixty race slots in total are available, and applications will be accepted on a first-come basis until July 23. Call 532-7300 for more information.
