Two movies begin their Oahu runs on Friday:

Mulan: Disney animated story about a girl who dresses like a man, goes to war in place of her father and becomes a hero. Based on an ancient Chinese legend. (G)

The X-Files: A two-hour version of the television misadventures of Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, the FBI agents charged with investigating all things paranormal and paranoiac. A building is bombed, Scully is abducted and experimented with, the Black Oil is sort of explained, a semi-recurring character seems to die, and the Cigarette-Smoking Man has something to do with everything.
