Garrett Gabriel new
boys’ coach at Maryknoll

Former University of Hawaii quarterback Garrett Gabriel is the new Maryknoll varsity boys' basketball coach.

Gabriel, 29, was head coach at Radford in 1996, leading the Rams to a 13-13 record and third place in the Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division.

He was Radford's junior varsity coach for two seasons prior to that.

Gabriel most recently served as assistant to his older brother, Darryl, who is head coach of the St. Louis varsity basketball program.
