Onaona Miller scored 16 points last night to lead Punahou's unbeaten girls' basketball team to a 41-23 romp over host Sacred Hearts Academy in Interscholastic League of Honolulu play.

Punahou (7-0) made 15 of 23 free throws while Sacred Hearts (2-5) made only 6 of 15.

Mid-Pacific's Rex Rundgren blasted a one-out, two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning yesterday to give the host Owls a 9-7 victory over Punahou and a share of first place in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu baseball race.

Both Mid-Pacific and Punahou now have 6-3 records.

A third-inning grand slam by pitcher Bryan Lee put the Owls ahead, 5-1.

But Punahou rallied, tying the score at 7 in the top of the seventh.
