Tokyo broke the tie in the sixth on Yumi Tokoro's RBI single.
JAMILA WINS: Damien Jamila shot a final-round 71 for a 9-under-par 179 and an eight-stroke victory over Joey Tadeo in the Hawaii Men's State Amateur Golf Championship yesterday at Pearl Country Club.
It was Jamila's fourth State Amateur title this decade. The 27-year-old took the lead with an opening-round 67 on Thursday and never gave it back.
Tadeo shot a 74 on the final day and birdied the final hole to finish one stroke ahead of Jonathan Ota, who had a 73--288.
TITLE TO CHIOTTI, DUNLAP: Jerome Chiotti was the overall men's winner and Alison Dunlap took the women's title at the Outrigger Hotels Hawaiian Mountain Tour yesterday at Kualoa Ranch.
Chiotti, who finished second in yesterday's men's cross-country race to Roland Green, beat Green with an overall time of 5:14:49 to 5:16:46.
Dunlap capped her women's overall crown with a win in the cross country event yesterday. She beat Tammy Jacques, who finished second overall as well.
