services SundayKatharine K. Kennedy, 93, widow of Hawaiis Episcopal Bishop Harry S. Kennedy, died Wednesday in Honolulu. Kennedy assisted in her husbands ministries in Kansas, Colorado and Hawaii. Three of her five sons become Episcopal priests.
She was born in Greeley, Colo. Before marrying, she was a teacher. She is survived by sons Bruce, Paul, David, Joel and Mark, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial eucharist: 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Andrews Cathedral. Aloha attire. No flowers. Donations suggested to Harry S. and Katharine K. Kennedy Scholarship Endowment at St. Andrews Priory School.
