Scanning new Horizons at PCC

Dave Cole has taken over the top marketing job for the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, which has added some new features in the past year.

"We have a new Alii luau, a new canoe pageant and a new night show called Horizons," Cole said.

He came to Hawaii from Salt Lake City, Utah where he was a partner in the Williams & Rockford advertising firm.

Cole has more than 15 years experience in marketing and advertising, including managing the daily operations of Williams & Rockwood. He also worked for Gilham Advertising in Salt Lake City, and the Richards Group in Dallas.

He earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

The Polynesian Cultural Center was founded in 1963. It is expecting its 25th million visitor in mid-September
