Volcano
A flow front is between 300 to 400 meters from the Wahaula Heiau. A 1989 flow threatened the structure but moved around it on its way to the sea. The flow is about a day or two from the site. Meanwhile, there is moderate lava fountaining inside Puu Oo cone.
