Brewer taps Nobui for info job

Amy Nobui takes over the top information job at Brewer Environmental Industries LLC as it is adds new technology for information processing.

"The computer system involves financial, inventory and sales information," Nobui said. "It should be in by this fall."

The company also is expanding its facilities and the services and laboratory division, she said.

For the last seven years, Nobui has worked as director of information services at Walt Disney Co. in Burbank, Calif. Nobui also has worked for Robinson's Department Store and Wickes Companies, a conglomerate in retail and manufacturing, during her 26-year career in business merchandising and information systems.

Nobui grew up in Kaimuki and earned a bachelor's degree in merchandising from the University of Hawaii.

Brewer Environmental Industries is a subsidiary of C. Brewer & Co.
