"Kokua Na Keiki Family Asthma": Parents and children learn how to cope with childhood asthma in programs sponsored by the American Lung Association. Cancer patients classes: 11:30 a.m.-noon, Fridays, through August, Queen's Medical Center. Classes are designed to improve strength, endurance, flexibility. Call 547-4611.

Expectant mothers exercise program: Isometric-isotonic exercises that tone those areas of the body stressed by pregnancy. Classes meet three times a week for four weeks. Cost: $47 for 12 classes. Information at 536-3556.

Fifty-Plus Fitness Association: Scenic ocean and Diamond Head trail walk/run, 8 a.m. second Saturday of the month, Kapiolani Park Bandstand. Wear good running or walking shoes. Approximately 4 miles long, lasting one hour. Location may change. Call 536-4006.

Fitness Walking Program: Laura Stern leads a group in warm-ups, a 50-minute walk through Waimea Valley and a cool-down exercise, 7 a.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays. First session is free. Annual pass is $40 ($70 per couple), includes park admission. Call 638-8511.

"Patches of Memory": St. Francis Medical Center provides materials for people to create a name patch in memory of someone lost to AIDS. Volunteers will sew the patches into three name quilts for World AIDS Day 1997. Patch packets with instructions, background material and swatches are free. Call 547-6231.
