Gregory Sprecher is following the finances for the macadamia nut orchards at Mauna Loa Resources Inc.

"I look at the financial side of the macadamia nut orchards only. It's just a sliver of the whole macadamia nut operations," Sprecher said.

Mauna Loa Resources Inc. is a C. Brewer subsidiary and the managing general partner for Mauna Loa Macadamia Partners, L.P. The limited partnership is one of the world's largest growers of macadamia nuts, owning or leasing 4,027 acres of orchards on the Big Island.

Sprecher came to Hawaii 25 years ago. Most recently he was special projects manager for American Linen Co. Sprecher also worked as chief financial officer for Young Laundry and Dry Cleaning Corp.

He has a bachelor's degree in finance from California State College at Long Beach.
