Waianae native Kimo Leopoldo will take on Brian "The Fury" Johnston in the main event of tonight's "Ultimate Explosion" fight card at Blaisdell Arena.

Johnston, 28, of San Jose, Calif., is a 16-year veteran of martial arts competition and was the 1996 San Francisco Golden Gloves heavyweight boxing champion. The 6-4, 235-pound Johnston also is undefeated in International Rules Kickboxing.

The card -- which has five preliminary fights plus the main event -- starts at 7:30 p.m. For ticket information, call 591-2211.
