Putting CCIM on the 'Net

Leil A. Koch takes over as president of the Hawaii chapter, Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) organization which includes experienced commercial real estate brokers, salespersons, property managers and others.

"Our biggest goal for 1997 is to get the Hawaii chapter on the Internet," Koch said. "We want to put on our membership database, and property database. Long range, we want to put on as much of the leasing information as we can, and also the commercial properties listed for sale."

He came to Hawaii in 1979, worked for two years as a disc jockey on KNUI, and then joined partners to buy Village West Realty in Lahaina, Maui in 1981. Koch is past president of the Maui Board of Realtors.

He earned a bachelor's degree in clinical psychology from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore.
