World Fest '97: Cultural celebration through displays, food, performances, silent auction and crafts, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. April 5, Mid-Pacific Institute. Race Against Violence: 3.1 mile race/walk sponsored by Faerber's Flyers Women's Running Club, and St. Francis and Kapiolani medical centers, 7 a.m. April 20, Manoa Recreation Center. Proceeds will go to the Kapiolani Sex Abuse Treatment Center and Family Peace Center, and the University of Hawaii Women's Cross Country Team.
