Torrance, Calif. - Sentencing for Charles Rathbun, convicted of killing model and former Raiders cheerleader Linda Sobek.
Santa Ana, Calif. - Evidentiary hearing to determine whether Geronimo Pratt should receive new trial. He was convicted of murder 27 years ago.
Alexandria, Va. - Circuit Court trial opens for 16-year-old Jimmy Hernandez, the first teen-ager charged as an adult with murder under Virginia's tougher juvenile justice law.
Milwaukee - Court appearance for repeat drunken driver who will have his jail time reduced if he agrees to parade around in a sandwich board displaying facts of his past misconduct.
Lexington, Ky. - Sentencing for Zane Leeds, a former Burgin school board member convicted of growing one of the largest marijuana crops ever seized in Kentucky.
Columbus, Ohio - Jury selection to start in Midwest bank robberies trial of Peter Langan. The robbers wore T-shirts with FBI logos and bought getaway cars in the names of retired agents.

SHEFFIELD, England - Pretrial hearing for Szymon Serafinowicz, accused of war crimes.Pittsburgh - USAir reservations and airport personnel vote on whether to be represented by the Communications Workers of America.
Falls City, Neb. - Retrial scheduled to begin for Dennis Ryan in the 1985 torture killing of James Thimm at a survival camp headed by Ryan's father, cult leader Michael Ryan.
