The activities at the 2nd annual Holiday Hoopla will make for a day of family fun Saturday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Barbers Point Naval Air Station's Pointer Field. Hoopla at Barbers Point
Take in a parade, sleigh race, hula performance by Ewa Lani Hula Maids and a concert by Island Rhythms. At about 6 p.m., Skydive Hawaii will have a demonstration, the Pacific Fleet Band will play and a giant tree will be lighted. There will also be an outdoor theater screening of "Home Alone."
There will be a Santa's village, games and trolley rides. Food, drinks and crafts will also be available. No pets or coolers. Call 682-4023.
More than 50 pianos, organs and keyboards will be auctioned at 2 p.m. Sunday at Thayer Piano, 1020 Auahi St. Take a pick of pianos
Among the brands to be offered are Yamaha, Kawai, Steinway, Brentwood, Story & Clark, Weber and many others.
Providing entertainment will be jazz pianist Les Peetz, and the students of Ellen Masaki, including Sean Kennard, winner of the first Chopin International Piano Competition of the Pacific.

Tonight from 5:30 to 6:30, students of the Suzuki Association of Hawaii will present a Christmas concert at the Hawaii State Library.

Meanwhile, light displays are also happening at the Honolulu Zoo. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings through Jan. 4, Zoolights features life-size light sculptures of zoo animals, nightly holiday entertainment and paper-mache animals .
Zoolights runs from 5 to 8 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults, $1 for children 2 through 12. Information: 926-3191.
