Kelly K. Walsh is responsible for Bancorp Hawaii Inc.'s adherence to consumer compliance laws and regulations, including community development lending.

Walsh also will serve as Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) officer for subsidiary Bank of Hawaii.

"I'm looking forward to working with community organizations in Hawaii to provide more community development loans and services in our lower-income markets," Walsh said.

Walsh's career includes 10 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco as a consumer compliance bank examiner and assistant vice president/community affairs officer. She has handled community development programs for nine states, including Hawaii Community Reinvestment Corp. She came to Hawaii in September.

Walsh earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from San Jose State University.
