Aloha Plane Pull: Teams of 20 people try to tug a 50-ton plane 12 feet in a benefit for Hawaii Special Olympics, 8 a.m. Saturday at Hickam Air Force Base. Big Band Bash: Jimmy Borges, the Gabe Baltazar Orchestra and special guests entertain at the benefit for the Institute for Human Services, 6:30 p.m. to midnight Sept. 21, Coral Ballroom, Hilton Hawaiian Village.
