De Pere, Wis. - President Clinton hosts Labor Day picnic, speaks later in Green Bay and Milwaukee.

Potchefstroom, South Africa - Trial opens in attempted murder case against white extemist leader Eugene Terreblanche.

Los Angeles - Trial for 21 reputed members of the "Mexican Mafia" prison gang, accused of crimes ranging from racketeering to murder.

Los Angeles - Hearing in lawsuit involving game show host Bob Barker.

Kingman, Ariz. - Sentencing for man who set fire to a state Department of Economic Security building.

Manassas, Va. - Grand jury considers indictment of former FBI agent Eugene Bennett, accused of abducting his wife's minister and making bomb threats.

Denver - Deadline for motions for separate trials for Oklahoma City bombing co-defendants Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols.
