OPENING

"The King and I": Anna comes to Bangkok to tutor a very large royal family and tries to help change the king's "barbarian" image, 7:30 p.m. Friday, Volcano Art Center. The Rodgers and Hammerstein musical features Jordan Stewart as the 19th-century ruler and Casey Dupree as Anna. "Barefoot in the Park": Their new life together becomes too comically chaotic for a newlywed couple in New York.
