The Hawaii Government Employees Association held a Family Fun Day Saturday at Aliiolani Elementary School. Seven-year-old Leo Young, above, had his portrait drawn by Honolulu Police Department sketch artist Joseph Aragon Jr. Aragon is one of two HPD sketch artists and has been drawing sketches for criminal cases for 34 years.

Nelson Condes examined a preserved paper wasp nest at the Department of Health, Vector Control table. Inspector Mark Leong explained that the wasps usually build nests under roof eaves and are extremely aggressive. If you spot a nest at your home the removal should only be done by professionals.
