Pro Bowl weekend doesn't arrive for a few more weeks, but Pipeline Cafe is already pulling out the big guns.
The club, in conjunction with radio station 102.7 Da Bomb and Rick Rock Productions, presents a special guest appearance by DJ Funkmaster Flex (pictured), a New York City-based TV and radio personality. Doors open at 9 p.m. Friday for the 18-and-over crowd; $4 Heineken and $5 Jaeger Bombs will be available at the bar for the big kids.

GenuineHI returns to NextDoor for its monthly local art/music/fashion event with a special guest in January, as the party also serves as the official launch of DISfunkshion Magazine.
The Perfect Median will perform live, with Tokyo-based DJ Coppe on hand for a special guest set alongside resident DJs mr.nick and Cookiehead Jenkins. Live painting is planned by artist Ryan Greenly, as is a fashion show featuring items from Leah Evans, Urban Nomad and Catherine's Closet.
