Los Lonely Boys, Jimmy Buffett coming to town

Two top-notch concert acts are on their way to town:

The Grammy Award-winning Texas trio Los Lonely Boys make their Hawaii debut with three shows Sept. 20-22 on Oahu, Maui and the Big Island. And on Oct. 4, Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band return to the Waikiki Shell as part of the Bama Breeze Tour.

While the Boys scored a major national hit in 2003 with "Heaven," the band's real strength is live performance, with a powerful fusion of Latin and electric Texas blues 'n' rock. Buffett's latest tour takes its name from the lead track of his 2006 album, "Take the Weather with You."

Tickets to the Boys' Sept. 20 gig at Aloha Tower Marketplace go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday at $40. Buffet tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday, priced at $38.50 lawn, $76 and $126 reserved.
