Falsetto champion crowned

Bill Kapahu Lyman won the 12th annual Aloha Festivals Hawaiian Falsetto Contest held Saturday night at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. Among Lyman's prizes was a recording contract with Hula Records. Second place went to H. Kainoa Kaneakua, third to Michael Mina and fourth to Stephen Young. The contest wrapped up the 2006 Aloha Festivals celebration.
