OH BOY! GOT MOI?

Kapunahala School students Connor Meers, left, Christoph Domino, Jarren Higaki and Megan Nakai yesterday helped release about 200 tagged Pacific threadfin, or moi, into the ocean off Waikiki Aquarium. The state Division of Aquatic Resources is asking people who catch the tagged fish to report the date, time, site and gear used to make the catch, as well as length, weight and tag number of the fish. A spider lay in wait yesterday on a plumeria blossom at Koko Crater Botanical Garden. The plumeria grove is in full bloom at this time of year, and visitors can walk the trails from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
